Experience the legendary Texas frontier through innovative exhibits and unique encounters at Frontier Texas, which is located in the heart of downtown Abilene. Shop for unique gifts at the Museum Store, and don't forget to take photos in front of the iconic bronze buffalo, the giant buffalo skull or below the Flying Buffalo Herd. Hours:
Monday – Saturday 9:00am - 6:00*pm
Sunday 1:00 - 5:00*pm
*Last show at 4:30 Monday-Saturday, and 3:30 on Sundays.
Closed New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
Closed at 4:00pm July 4th, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve. Last show at 2:30.
